This project utilized the latest Tesla Battery Storage technology to supplement building power using peak shaving and load shifting strategies.  The 1 MW/2 MW hour system will also participate in utility grid relief due to the shutdown of the San Onofre Nuclear Power Generating Plant. Morrow Meadows Corporation was awarded the 2016 Award for Electrical Excellence from the National Electrical Contractors Association for this project.
